Reach App - Setup Walkthru (Android)

Follow the steps below for setting up the Android Reach App:

Download the Reach App from Google Play Store.

>> Subscribe to the Unlimited version. This allows you to have unlimited texting, contacts & groups, along with the ability to import contacts. Find more pricing info here: https://masstext.io/#pricing

Tap the 3 lines on the top right > Select 'Upgrade'

Build a Group:

Tap the Green Circle at the bottom > Enter your group name

Since you can add multiple groups of contacts in the Reach app, use a name that applies to the particular contacts you're adding. (ie. Friends, Family, Clients)

Adding Contacts:

Tap the Green Circle at the bottom to access your phone contacts.

Select individual contacts by tapping their Name > then 'Add'
Add the whole list tapping the 3 dots on the top right > then 'Select All'

Once you've selected your group tap 'Done'

>> You may see a permissions request for Reach to access your phone contacts.
Tap 'Request Permissions' > then 'Allow' to move forward. 

Craft your text message:

Tap the pencil icon at the bottom to compose a text message

>> To automatically merge the contacts first name, tap 'Attachment' > then 'First Name'
Compose your text message > tap 'Send Message'

**Subject is not needed to send text messages.

Select your group before sending:

You will then be prompted to select your group and have a chance to review individual contacts.
Uncheck any names you do not want to send your text message to.

Tap the circle icon on the bottom to start sending your text message.

You will see a preview of each text before sending >Tap the green arrow to send each text

Canceling a Text Message:

Cancel a text for an individual contact > Tap the back button

Cancel a message for the whole group

Go back into the Reach app. You receive a pop up letting you know you the first text was sent.
Tap 'Stop' to cancel sending for the remaining group. 

>> Closing the Reach App will also cancel sending.

Sent or canceled, all of your texts will be saved in the Reach App.

This means you can create drafts to send out at a later date or templates to use in the future.

>> Locate your drafts by tapping the 3 lines on the top left
