Question - I was considering adding logos for the Business Advocates I'm making videos for. The logo would be small in one of the corners of the video. Is this not recommended? I also wanted to include my logo in one of the corners as well (small). Or maybe end of the video as an outro?
Answer - First I'll answer your question with a question (annoying I know lol). What are you trying to achieve by adding the Business Advocate logo and your logo to these videos? Whenever I consider adding more steps to my process, I like to circle back to the why.
Not knowing your answer to that, here are my thoughts. The logos for your Business Advocates are an additional time cost that you're putting in the way of you posting the completed video. A custom logo, or custom anything in these videos, can keep you in the "trying to be perfect, so it's not done yet" zone.
If the business partner logo you create will include the name of the business, remember that information is already on the Service Provider page, so listing it inside the video too doesn't bring more value to your viewer.
The purpose of the video is to highlight your Business Advocate and serve a purpose for your viewer (contact info and referral). Adding your logo to each video is serving you, not your viewer. Your viewer isn't going to be in the middle of watching a video about auto detail and suddenly in the middle of the video decide to call you, pause the video, and get your phone number off the screen. It's just not the way the site is used. They might think to go to the site to call you, but they'll go to your "get to know me" page.
